Learn About the JEE Mains Cut Off Marks for NIT
NIT stands for National Institute Of Technology. There are around 31 NITs all over India. They are government and top-level engineering institutes of India.

Reservation Policies in JEE Mains
In the case of Reservation Policy, 3 different types of Reservation policies are there in NITs.
1) Category –
Based on the category, if the candidate belongs to OPEN or EWS or OBC or SC or ST, different cut-offs are there.
2) Gender –
Special seats are available for female candidates. Those are supernumerary seats; they are specially added to the total number of seats to promote female candidates. So, the category is Female only and Gender Neutral.
3) Home State –
Based on which state you appear in, there are 2 categories – home state and open state, and there are different cutoff percentile for both.
Thus before looking for cutoff, you first need to evaluate which state you appear in – your home state or any other state. Then afterwards, your category is OPEN/EWS /SC/ST, and you want to look for gender-neutral seats, or you are going for female-only seats.
Out of the total 31 NITs, I will show you the minimum percentile required for entry in the top 13 NITs for overall courses available and Computer Science in the OPEN category and gender-neutral.
1) NIT TRICHY
